Seal Packaging are proud to offer our range of ‘Bio Products’ which are designed to give the maximum performance at a competitive price. This growing area of environmentally friendly packaging requires products which are well designed, of the highest quality materials but still need to ensure they are affordable; we feel we have achieved that and more.

PLA Bags

Our range of PLA (Poly Lactic Acid / corn starch) bags are really in demand. There is no compromise in the clarity of the film compared to our standard Snappy bags and yet they are fully compostable. Available in a range of sizes, including perforated they are a welcome addition to our range.
Our PLA bags are non wicketed, however they will seal on our Snappy sealing machines just as well as the standard Snappy bags.

Bio Sandwich Cartons

The Seal Packaging ‘Bio Sandwich’ cartons we produce are our own unique design. They offer simple and easy erection and loading, and although for day fill use (due to the clever closure we use), they extend the shelf life compared to other products in the market. The Bio Sandwich cartons are produced in 400mic Kraft board; we apply a natural coating on the inside to act as a barrier against grease (such as butter or mayonnaise). The film window is produce in PLA and so enabling the whole carton to be compostable. Available in three sizes, Standard, Deep Fill and Triple.

Bio Food Container
The Seal Packaging ‘Bio Food Container’ is produced with the same quality materials as the Bio Sandwich cartons and so is also fully compostable. The quality feel of the thicker 450mic Kraft board helps with the rigidity and the three locks help secure the product, offering increased tamper evident assurance. The natural coating applied to the inside will ensure any fatty products such as butter, oil or mayonnaise will be held in the Bio Food container for a longer period. Hot food can also be placed in the Bio Food container for take away uses.

Tortilla Wrap Pillow Pack - Single
The Seal Packaging ‘Bio Tortilla Wrap’ is produced with the same quality materials as the Bio Sandwich cartons and so is also fully compostable. The Tortilla's base is simple to close and will hold the Tortilla perfectly to present the product at its best. The Tortilla Wrap is designed to be placed into a Snappy Bag DA003 and sealed on a Snappy Sealer, this will increase freshness and make the product tamper evident. If you prefer a DA066 white back bag could also be used.

Tortilla Wrap Double Ended
The Seal Packaging ‘Bio Tortilla Wrap - Double Ended’ is produced with the same quality materials as the Bio Sandwich cartons and so is also fully compostable. The double ended Tortilla wrap allows two tortilla halves to slide in either opening, thus promoting the filling whilst covering the wrap itself. The double ended Tortilla Wrap can be used in conjuction with a Snappy Bag DA001 and sealed on a Snappy Sealer, this will increase freshness and make the product tamper evident. If you prefer a DA067 white back bag could be used.
